Age Verification Policy

KiwiCigs takes age-restricted sales seriously.

Tobacco products and other regulated products covered by New Zealand law must not be sold or supplied to anyone under 18 years of age.

Minimum Age

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase regulated products from KiwiCigs where the applicable law requires a minimum age of 18.

By placing an order, you confirm that you meet the applicable legal age requirement.

Age Verification

KiwiCigs may use reasonable age-verification and identity-checking measures to help prevent sales to minors.

Depending on the circumstances, we may request appropriate evidence of age or other information reasonably necessary to verify your eligibility to purchase regulated products.

A simple declaration or tick-box confirming that you are over 18 may not be sufficient where stronger verification is required by applicable law.

Delivery to Minors

Regulated products must not be delivered, or arranged to be delivered, to a person under 18 years of age.

Where appropriate, the delivery process may require the recipient to provide evidence of age or otherwise confirm that they meet the applicable age requirement.

Refusal or Cancellation

KiwiCigs reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel an order if:

Age requirements cannot be satisfactorily verified
The customer does not meet the applicable minimum age
The delivery recipient appears to be under the required age
We reasonably believe that the transaction may breach applicable law

Where an order is cancelled before dispatch for these reasons, any refund will be handled in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy and applicable law.
